Seating for Two

Picture a reading corner that's outgrown its single perch: two kids want a spot to sit, and the books and resources have multiplied to match. The Cubo Double Storage Bench solves both problems with one 807mm-wide unit, built around two open storage cubes that double the room for folders, books and supplies without doubling the floor space.

The two-cube base sits on heavy-duty lockable castors, so it rolls between a staffroom and a classroom and locks down wherever it lands. The cushioned top is a heavy duty foam, finished standard in our range of Atlas fabrics and the frame is constructed from E0-rated laminate board, the lowest formaldehyde emission class available for engineered timber. Each cube ships open by default, but classrooms that need closed storage can fit tote, drawer or door inserts to either cube independently, mixing open and closed storage in the one bench.
