The Inform 1200 Curved Bookcase splits its structure into twelve sections, six per side, carrying eight fixed flat-edge shelves as standard, each inset 5mm from the end panel. As with the rest of the curved range, these shelves are fixed rather than adjustable, built into the curve so the unit holds its shape while reading as one system with the straight Inform range. Built on 25mm E0 laminate board, it's available as a fixed unit at 1250mm or a mobile unit at 1300mm on six 100mm lockable castors.

Curve a run into a near-complete circle and you've got a quiet reading zone that feels tucked away without a single wall. Curve it the other direction and it opens into a wave, giving a library or resource area a sense of flow that's hard to fake with straight shelving alone. Combine it with the Inform 1200 Double-Sided Bookcase, mixing straight runs with curved sections, and the shapes on offer start to multiply fast.
