Built for the bench work that actually happens

The Techno 1200 TechCraft Workbench suits spaces where students cut, drill, solder and prototype: STEM labs, makerspaces, trades and construction rooms, manual arts and D&T classrooms. Choose a flat birch ply top or the dog-hole version, which ships with 8 stainless steel bench dogs so students can clamp work down instead of chasing it across the table.

The 50x50mm black powder-coated steel frame carries four students at once, and heavy-duty adjustable feet keep the bench level on uneven classroom floors. A flat open shelf underneath holds tools and materials within reach mid-project. Add a vice to hold work steady, or fit heavy-duty lockable castors if the bench needs to move between rooms or lock in place during a session.

Need a bigger footprint? The Techno 1800 TechCraft runs the same spec at 1800x900mm. Need lockable storage instead of open shelving? The Techno 1200 TechStore swaps the shelf for two cupboards.

What's the difference between the TechStore and TechCraft versions?

TechStore has two cupboards with adjustable shelving for lockable, enclosed storage. TechCraft swaps that for a flat open shelf, for rooms that need quick grab-and-go access instead.

What's the difference between the flat and dog-hole worktop options?

The flat worktop gives students a clear, open surface for general project work. The dog-hole version includes pre-drilled holes and 8 stainless steel bench dogs for clamping materials in place, which suits trades, construction and D&T tasks where work needs to stay fixed.

How many students can use the Techno 1200 Workbench at once?

Four. The square 1200x1200mm footprint gives each student their own side of the bench.

Can I add castors or a vice to this bench?

Yes, both come as optional extras. Heavy-duty lockable castors let you move the bench between rooms or lock it in place. A vice attachment gives students a fixed clamping point for hands-on work.

Does this bench come in a larger size?
