Library storage works hardest when it stores from both sides, and the Inform 1800 Double Bookcase is built around that principle. Dual-sided access means every shelf serves two aisles at once, so the unit holds significantly more books per square metre than a single-sided equivalent placed against a wall. Ten shelves come as standard, each adjustable in 10mm increments and fitted with heavy-duty shelf lugs, so spacing can shift to suit picture books, textbooks or reference material without buying new hardware.

The frame is built from 25mm E0 board, available across a wide range of laminate finishes, and sits on five 50mm powder coated steel feet for a static, stable footprint. An optional integrated Slatwall end panel turns the bookcase into extra display or hanging space, useful where a library or resource room needs both storage and a spot to showcase student work. This is a static unit by design, built for permanent placement rather than daily reconfiguration.
