Soft booth seating gives students a place to think without needing a closed door, and the Inform Portal Horizon is built around that balance. It comes in two sizes: a single-seat footprint at W900 x D600 x H1850 and a double at W1800 x D600 x H1850 for paired discussion or quiet co-working. Sound-absorbing upholstered walls cut down surrounding noise without fully enclosing the seat, so students stay visible to staff while getting an acoustic separation from the room around them. The open design allows access from either side, keeping the seat easy to use in a busy corridor or library aisle.

Built on E0 board with fully customisable upholstery, the Portal Horizon fits into any classroom colour scheme rather than working against it. It's modular with the Inform 1800 Double Bookcase, designed to break up long runs of shelving with a soft place to sit, and pairs naturally with Pebble or iDisc tables to form a popup breakout spot wherever one's needed. For a more enclosed, single-access version of the same seat, the Inform Portal Retreat adds an upholstered back for extra privacy.
